Housing assistance subsidies for families living in the West Hartford area.
(West Hartford, CT – May 20, 2015) The West Hartford Housing Authority (WHHA) announced that it has changed the name of its affiliate, the West Hartford Housing Corporation, to Trout Brook Realty Advisors, Inc.
The mission of the West Hartford Housing Authority is to create, preserve, and revitalize a wide range of housing and community development opportunities – from market-rate, to work-force, to affordable – that serve a diverse mix of households within Central Connecticut.
Trout Brook Realty Advisors serves as the West Hartford Housing Authority’s developer constructing, owning and managing successful multi-family housing developments that provide their residents with convenient access to jobs, shopping, medical care and entertainment.
“As we’ve built quality multi-family developments in West Hartford, we’ve also generated a great deal of interest in bringing our services to other communities,” stated Robert Wienner, President of the Trout Brook Realty Advisors. “A new name that properly positions us as a regional development company is a logical step as we look to continue building successful communities in West Hartford, the region and throughout Connecticut.”
Existing Trout Brook Realty Advisors’ properties in West Hartford include Elm Grove at 11 Grove Street, Alfred E. Plant at 759 Farmington Avenue, and their newest property, The Goodwin, located at 189 Newington Road.
Trout Brook Realty Advisors is currently conducting due diligence on the feasibility of a transit oriented, mixed-use development, targeting millennials. The proposed development would be located immediately north of the Elmwood CT Fastrak Station at 616 New Park Avenue in West Hartford.
