Housing Non-Profits Get $10M in CHFA Tax Credits

Connecticut’s affordable-housing finance arm says it approved $10 million in state housing tax credit contributions to two dozen nonprofit housing developers….

Connecticut Housing Investment Fund Inc., West Hartford Housing Corp., and Hartford Area Habitat for Humanity were the only Hartford area nonprofits funded in this year’s round of tax credits, CHFA spokeswoman Lisa Kidder said Tuesday. The maximum tax credits issued to any developer is $500,000 annually, the agency said.
